EASY BIO, a global feed additive company, and Amicogen, a leading bio-material company in Korea, have signed a mutual agreement for the “Joint Development and Marketing of Enzymes and Useful Polysaccharide Technologies for Global Feed Additives.”

    Since its establishment, EASY BIO has focused on developing, producing, and selling functional special additives to ensure the sustainability of the livestock industry. Currently, it exports self-developed absorption enhancers, fermentation agents, and NSP enzyme products to over 40 countries. Through these efforts, EASY BIO contributes to reducing costs for farms, conserving grain resources, and enhancing livestock productivity, thus leading the ESG management movement in the global livestock sector.

    Amicogen, a biomaterial and equipment company, has led the development of core technologies for the sustainable pharmaceutical industry, including protein purification resins, cell culture media, and specialty enzymes for drug manufacturing. The company also possesses numerous new substances and eco-friendly enzyme technologies that can be directly applied to the food and livestock markets.

    This agreement aims to combine EASY BIO’s network and market insight, based on its proven global market presence and long-standing industry experience, with Amicogen’s expertise in specialty enzymes and useful polysaccharide technologies. The objective is to develop enzyme products for feed additives and expand global distribution channels.

    The global market for enzyme products for feed additives is expected to grow from approximately 2.4 trillion KRW in 2024 to about 3.2 trillion KRW by 2028. Enzyme products have been proven to increase in-vivo digestibility and maximize the utilization of grain resources, contributing to livestock growth and resource savings amid uncertainties in food supply due to climate change and population growth.
