EASY BIO’s integrated brand for feed additives, Pathway Intermediates to Attend the Livestock Conferences in Europe

Pathway Intermediates Limited had the privilege in Quarter 2 of 2024 to attend two major scientific conferences. These were the British Society of Animal Science (BSAS) in conjunction with the World Poultry Science Association (WPSA) UK branch in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and the European Poultry Conference affectionately known as EPC2024 in Valencia, Spain.
The conferences are important as they allow our Pathway Members to participate in the latest poultry research ensuring that our support for customers is aligned with the latest industry developments.
This conference was attended by Matthew Oldnall (Technical and Sales Manager Europe, Pathway Intermediates Limited). With this conference being both WPSA and BSAS a wide variety of topics and more importantly species were covered. Staff and doctoral students from a number of universities led the discussions, which looked at current challenges facing the sector. These included nutritional strategies to improve animal welfare within the British livestock industry. The conference also delved into topics to future-proof the industry to ensure we remain sustainable and responsible in alignment with our customers and consumer expectations.
This conference brought together nutritionists, veterinarians, and production specialists from across the globe. It was very much a highlight in the global poultry calendar this year with over 2,000 attendees enjoying the multitude of scientific lectures and the ability to network and catch up with specific challenges across the globe. Pathway Intermediates was represented by Edward Youngman (CEO, Pathway Intermediates Limited), Andrew Armstrong (Sales and Marketing Director, Pathway Intermediates Limited), and Matthew Oldnall. This is a reflection of the importance of events like this for both improving our technical knowledge and adding to the thought leadership conversations taking place within the poultry sector, highlighting our ability to place focus on science which will feed the future. It also provided us with the opportunity to strengthen and widen our networks within the global poultry industry.
